Garfield officially opened the 1st Bookshop Garforth during Spring of 1987
Garfield is pictured here with Roger Bernard Crossland (he is the entrepreneur, not Garfield!) founder of the business, the King of the Castle, who started out in Bookselling as a trainee Manager for WH Smith - pictured together with Sheila Elizabeth Crossland on the official Garforth Bookshop opening day.
